About the Chamber

Since 1924, the Richmond Chamber of Commerce has represented the dynamic range of our city’s business community, from sole proprietors to major corporations. Approximately 70 percent of our members are considered small businesses, with less than 10 employees, 26 percent of our members have between 10-100 employees, and only 4 percent of our members are considered large businesses, having over 100+ employees.

We are a voice for each of our members and encourage participation by all. We are an excellent resource for anyone wanting information about Richmond and its business opportunities, policies and trends.

Learn about our active Chamber Committees and how you can become a Chamber Ambassador. You will see that the Chamber “family” includes the Business and Education United Foundation (BEUnited!), Escalante Computer Training Center and the Richmond Business Political Action Committee (RichPAC).

The Richmond Chamber hosts regular and special events offering our members networking opportunities, sponsor and advertising opportunities, introductions to elected and City officials and opportunities to learn about this great city of Richmond. We release regular e-publications to keep our members informed of upcoming meetings and events as well as advertise for individual members to the community through our Think Local First Advertising Campaign.
