Chevron’s Richmond Refinery processes over 240,000 barrels of crude oil a day in the manufacture of petroleum products including motor gasoline, jet fuel, diesel fuel and lubricants.

However, there is more to Chevron’s operations than simply providing trusted energy supplies. Since 1902, the Chevron Richmond Refinery has been a proud member of the Richmond community. Being your neighbor is a job we have always taken seriously, from our commitment to safe operations to providing more jobs than any other private employer in the area.

As part of the community, it’s important for us to have an open dialogue and an opportunity to engage with our neighbors. We regularly meet with residents, community groups and elected officials. This gives our neighbors an opportunity to ask questions and voice their concerns, whether it’s about specific activities at the refinery or larger community issues.
