Ms. Vasquez-Jones grew up in Richmond and graduated from De Anza High School. She has been part of the West County Community for over 30 years. Ruth has worked for former Assembly member Bob Campbell and current County Supervisor John Gioia. For the last 13 years, she was the Community Affairs Director for the Brookside Community Health Center. Ms. Vasquez-Jones has over 20 years of experience in community relations, grant writing, fundraising, and board and program development. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and is passionate about strengthening the economic development within the City of Richmond and West Contra Costa County.
