YMCA Home Front Run
Sign up to participate in the YMCA Home Front 5K & 10K Fun Run beginning at 9 AM on October 13th! Then, explore Richmond’s fascinating history at the Home Front Festival from 11 AM to 5 PM. For official information about the YMCA Home Front Run, visit www.onyourmarkevents.com.

Tour the NEW Rosie the Riveter Visitor and Education Center
With it’s grand opening earlier this year, this brand new visitor and education center located next to the BoilerHouse Restaurant should not be missed! Tour this historic and interesting new addition to the Rosie the Riveter National Park, open during the Home Front Festival!

San Francisco DUCK Tours
All aboard! Take a tour of Marina Bay on this amphibious truck conducted by the San Francisco Duck Tours. This 45 minute, National Park Service guided tour will take you along the shoreline, both by land and sea, to explore Richmond’s interesting past relating to the Home Front effort during World War II. $15/per person. Tours leave every hour between 10am and 4pm.
