Vibe Bistro

Vibe Bistro creates the right vibe with high quality sourced coffee beans and tea leaves.

We are a sustainable and green neighbor in the Bay Area.

Vibe Bistro is located at the Richmond BART station transportation hub in Richmond CA. Richmond BART boasts 8000 in daily ridership with the transportation hub also including AmTrak, ACTransit, Golden Gate Transit, and Capitol Corridor. We are in the historic downtown Richmond business district within blocks of major hospitals and nestled inside of a residential area.

We are a “Second Chance Employer” with a soulful spin on the mundane coffee shop experience. From our BART location, our menu includes grab-n-go items such as soup, hoagies/sandwiches, and salads for busy commuters. The menu also includes savory hot items such as grit bowls, breakfast biscuits, and paninis.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 5am-1pm. Our closed afternoon, evening, and weekend hours are available to other food businesses for popups.

We are most proud of our commitment to the community we live in. We’ve made a conscious choice about who has access to our food, the quality of the food we serve, and the management of our waste. We aim to be the best neighbors we can be. We are a certified Green Business, which is our consistent pledge to sustainability.

We’ve partnered with local community gardens and a vermiculture farm for donation of funds for programs, donation of coffee grounds, and donation of our 100% compostable packaging will aid in carbon sequestering. We’ve partnered with Good To Go to limit food waste. Based on the owner’s relationship and work with unhoused outreach programs, none of our unsold food will ever see a trash can.

We are the only restaurant in Contra Costa County contracted with the state to accept SNAP benefits for the Restaurant Meal Program. We have expanded our SNAP benefits to our Oakland commercial kitchen site and our pop-up space in San Francisco to make sure great food is available for seniors, those with varying abilities, and the unhoused.
