The Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park in Richmond, CA is open to visitors every day and and is now preparing for the 2011 Home Front Festival on October 15th. The Richmond Chamber of Commerce is bringing one of the amphibious “duck” vehicle from San Francisco to the festival. Watch the first tour on the Duck ride from the Craneway Pavilion on Harbor Way into the waters of the Richmond Marina. NPS Ranger, Craig Rierdan, guides the tour through the waters of the marina for a look at the historical buildlings, the Red Oak Victory ship and more. Come out to the 2011 Home Front Festival and ride the Duck!
