The Richmond Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second annual Economic Summit on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium. The purpose of the summit is to bring together business, industry and government leaders, as well as investors for a discussion on economic development and best practices that promote business growth in Richmond California.
“Our goal is to provide a venue that facilitates the discussion of trends and opportunities to effectively develop our local economy,” said John Ziesenhenne, chair of the 2011 Economic Summit, and Past Chair of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce. “The event speakers will provide good information, valuable insight and will help lead engaging discussion among the business community of Richmond.”
The Summit will feature industry experts including Christopher Thornberg, Founding Partner of Beacon Economics and Sunne Wright McPeak, President and CEO of California Emerging Technology Fund. Summit participants will also have access to numerous workshops focused on helping businesses understand and capture business opportunities with ongoing and prospective projects, accessing capital in today’s economy, marketing businesses, local real estate and much more.
