You are invited to attend the 5th Annual TARGET Independence Day Celebration at the Craneway Pavilion on Wednesday, July 3rd, featuring the OAKLAND EAST BAY SYMPHONY. This event is free to the public!
Inside the historic Ford Point Building on the waterfront in Richmond, the Oakland East Bay Symphony, the Craneway Pavilion and the City of Richmond will team up to host a patriotic, family-friendly celebration featuring live music, food and fireworks.
Doors will open at 6:30pm. Enjoy performances by the Hilltop Community Church Choir and Oaktown Jazz Workshops.
The Oakland East Bay Symphony concert will begin at 8pm. The Oakland East Bay Symphony concert will be conducted by Music Director Michael Morgan and feature patriotic, spirited works to celebrate America’s Independence Day, including a set of John Williams works celebrating that great American institution: the movies! Diablo Wind Symphony will join in for a set of Sousa marches.
The Grand Finale will take place at 9:15pm. Patriotic music will accompany the City of Richmond’s spectacular fireworks display over the water.
