We are very excited and proud to announce that the Richmond Chamber has been selected to receive an award at the 2011 Richmond Historic Preservation Awards Ceremony from The Richmond Historic Preservation Commission and National Park Service. The Chamber will be presented with the National Park Service Home Front Award for their many years of hosting the annual USO Dance and Home Front Festival by the Bay. The ceremony will take place on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 440 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond. Get directions here. The awards ceremony will be followed by a reception across the Plaza at the Richmond Art Center, catered by the Contra Costa College Culinary Arts Department. There will be a No Host Bar.
