We regret to inform our members that Gary Bell, a longtime local leader and elected Richmond Councilmember, passed away early Thursday morning. He was 54 years old and is survived by his wife, Shelley, and two adult sons.

A memorial fund has been set up in Gary Bell’s name at Mechanics Bank to support Gary’s family through this time. Please make a donation by stopping in at any Mechanics Bank branch. Donations are accepted as both cash or check.

Funeral services will be held at Hilltop Community Church on Hilltop Drive and Shane Drive, Richmond on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 11am.

There will be a viewing on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 4pm, immediately followed with a Quiet Hour from 6pm to 8pm or 9pm at Wilson Kratzer Funeral Mortuary, 24th & Barrett Avenue, Richmond.
