Shields Nursing Centers would like to invite you to their 4th Annual Backpack Giveaway on Saturday, August 3rd from 1pm to 2:30pm at their Richmond Nursing Center, 1919 Cutting Blvd., Richmond. Shields Nursing will be giving away 200 backpacks to children in the Richmond and El Cerrito areas. This is part of their organization’s commitment to community service and is a wonderful way to involve residents and patients in the community, especially reaching out to children.

Participate in the event by enjoying ice cream, popcorn and raffle drawings. This event is supported by Richmond PAL and the Richmond Fire Department. Students from preschool through high school are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult and all adults must be accompanied by their children.
