The Council of Business & Industries/Richmond Chamber/23rd St. Merchants/Main St. would like to invite you to a presentation of the staff recommendations for "reimagining public safety" including a reduction in the Police budget of $10.3M on FRIDAY 06/04 FROM 1-2:30PM. The presentation will be made by Jim Nantell, Interim Community Services Manager and Police Chief Bisa French.
FYI - On Tuesday 06/01 the Council heard the staff's recommendations for "Reimagining Public Safety" and Chief Bisa presented the Police Department's revised budget. Our meeting will provide an opportunity to further discuss these recommendations. The Council is scheduled to meet again on 6/15, with a final budget fiscal year 2021/2022 decision on 06/22/21.
