Doctors Medical Center is hosting its next blood drive at its Outpatient Center site, 100 A Towne Center, in San Pablo from 10 AM to 4 PM on Friday May 31, 2013. Refreshments will be provided.
In the wake of recent national emergencies, the need for blood donations is at the forefront of everyone’s mind. According to the American Red Cross, more than 44,000 blood donations are needed every day, and the commitment of regular donors ensures that the blood used in an emergency is already available for those in need—even before an event occurs.
To donate during the West County blood drive, donors can make an appointment by calling call 1-800-RED-CROSS and explain they want to give at the May 31, 2013 Doctors Medical Center blood drive. Once at the blood drive, donors should look for the American Red Cross Bus across from the Towne Center’s Starbucks.
