Final Environmental Impact Report
West of Hills Northern Pipelines Project

The Board of Directors of the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) is scheduled to consider certification of the West of Hills Northern Pipelines Project Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and approval of the project, on December 10, 2013 at the regularly scheduled meeting which begins at 1:15 p.m. in the Board Room at EBMUD Administration Offices, 375 Eleventh Street, Oakland, CA 94607.

The West of Hills Northern Pipelines Project involves construction of a total of about 8.5 miles of new water transmission pipelines (48-inches and 36-inches) in the Cities of Berkeley, El Cerrito, Richmond and San Pablo.

A Draft EIR was prepared for the project and released for a 45-day public review on May 15, 2013. All comments received on the Draft EIR have been compiled and responded to in the Final EIR including any changes and clarifications to the Draft EIR.
